Please contact us for our BLS (Back Country Life Support) course from the 15th to the 19th of October 2025.
The program has limited spaces to a maximum of 10 participants. This year's program is in Franz Josef Glacier on the Westcoast of the South Island and includes two nights in the high alpine from Centennial Hut.
The course is pitched towards medical professionals with a focus of avalanche companion rescue, crevasses rescue, glacier travel techniques, mountain weather, and back country life support.
The course fees include clinical teaching staff and guides. National Park concession and hut fees. Helicopter access and egress onto the glacier. Pre learning resources.
